Sewage Enforcement Officer
The Sewer Enforcement Officer (SEO) is responsible for administering and enforcing the Borough's on-lot sewage disposal regulations in accordance with state and local requirements.

The SEO ensures that all on-lot septic systems are properly designed, installed, and maintained to protect public health and the environment.

Duties include reviewing and approving sewage permit applications, conducting site evaluations and soil testing, inspecting system installations, and responding to complaints or malfunctions.

The SEO also provides guidance to property owners, contractors, and developers to ensure compliance with the Pennsylvania Sewage Facilities Act (Act 537) and other applicable regulations.
